Post-Grad

After 4 (not) long (enough) years in college, I will be graduating in May. As it turns out, many people have been very curious about my post-grad plans (who knew). Up until recently I kept having to respond to the dreaded: “So, what are your plans for after graduation?” with: “I really don’t know.” and the even more dreaded: “Have you given any thought to grad school?” with: “I don’t want to go to grad school until I know for certain what I want to study.” The grad school things still hasn’t changed (probs eventually going to obtain my MSW), however my post-grad plans are finally shaping up to be something both fulfilling and fun. I just finished and I’m about to turn in my application to volunteer in Rwanda for 3 months starting in July (wish me luck). If that works out then I will be able to jet from Rwanda to England in October and stay for the following 3 months with the light of my life: my housemate Liz. After my time in England I’ll be able to either A: come back to Los Angeles for a while (say, a year) and raise some funds or B: go straight to South America where I will start my adventure of learning Spanish and backpacking through as many countries as possible.

LOOK GUYS! I’M GETTING MY SHIT TOGETHER AND FIGURING OUT WHAT I’M GOING TO DO POST-GRAD!!!
